I must admit, as much as I loved this book, it broke my heart, too. It's a hard read with the brutality these men dealt with. What made them who they were.
I devour DARK, and this was definitely DARK!
Was brilliantly written by Julie, and I'll be reading more from this fellow Aussie author!

It takes you down a rabbit hole of twist and turns and dark debauchery it went from pitch black to a black hole and i was so there for it. Julie Anne is excellent at writing from a child’s pov and she excels in this and doesn’t hold back at all it leaves you with cold shivers imagining a child doing all those things.
